  • How do I book an appointment?
Before you send me a question, please first read the FAQ’s. The questionnaire will probably provide you with all answers to your questions. On the basis of the questionnaire, fill out the contact form and send us your inquiry. Use a ruler to give a precise idea of the tattoo size dimensions. The bigger or smaller amount of centimeters can create a significant difference in time planning. Usually within 24hrs I will send you an answer to your request, where I will let you know if your intent is to be implemented according to your preferences, and the day/time we are able to offer an appointment for. We will contact you (by email or DM) and agree on the time of the appointment. Please transfer the deposit (we will send you a payment link) to our bank account 5 days prior to the appointment. Your appointment is final after we have received the deposit. Please check your spam folder if you haven't receive an answer from us within 5 days. I will prepare a design in advance or will work with you on the design at your appointment before tattooing. I never present our designs beforehand. But I always plan enough time, if necessary, I will edit the design for you till we hear you say: ‘It’s beautiful, it’s exactly or even better what I have imagined!
  • How do I take care of my new tattoo?
During tattooing, the skin breaks, causing a wound. If you take good care of the tattoo, it will take about six weeks for this wound to heal. If the tattoo is covered with a sterile compress or cling film, you can remove it after 3 to 5 hours. Wound spray or self-adhesive transparent film should be left in place until it wears off or falls off naturally. You are allowed to shower with a tattoo. Treat the uncovered tattoo wound as follows: • Wash the tattoo twice a day with a mild unscented soap; • Pat the tattoo dry with a clean towel after washing; • Apply an ointment to the wound that the tattoo artist has given you or that she recommends. During the healing process, make sure you: • touch the tattoo wound as little as possible (wash your hands before handling the tattoo). • do not scratch the tattoo wound; • do not cover the tattoo wound with tight or soiled clothing; • do not cover the tattoo wound with plasters or bandages; • avoid (bubble) baths, swimming pools, saunas and steam baths; • do not expose the tattoo wound to sunlight or a tanning bed. The tattooed skin remains very sensitive to sunlight even after healing. Therefore, always apply sunscreen to your tattoo. Please note: contact your doctor if there is extreme redness, swelling, bleeding or wound fluid, colorchange or chronical pain.

  • How old do you have to be to get a tattoo?
I only tattoo people who are above the age of 18, regardless the Dutch law. Every tattoo will be reviewed but if it is against my believes or what I stand for I can decline it.
  • Can I get a tattoo with several people at the same time?
This is possible, but depends on the design, however the max. is 3 people per appointment. If you want to come with more then 3 people, I will spread it over different timeslots/days. I would like to receive your request in 1 appointment form. This keeps all correspondence together and makes it easier for me to prepare.
  • Why do I have to pay a deposit?
I require a deposit to confirm your appointment. The amount of the payment depends on the agreement. This amount will be deducted from the total amount at checkout. I do this to protect my time. So if you don't show up, the time will be compensated because this spot can often no longer be filled. You can cancel or reschedule the appointment up to 24 hours before the start of your appointment while retaining your deposit. If you want to make a new appointment after your no-show, you will have to pay the full deposit for the new appointment.
  • Can I cancel my appointment?
If you have to postpone your appointment, please do so 7 days before your appointment in person, in the studio or by mail. No extra costs will be charged. If you do this too late (24 hrs before the appointment) or try the wrong mail address, your deposit will expire, also by no show and cancellations.
  • What colors do you tattoo with?
Currently we have black, red, green, blue, lavender and brown ink I tattoo with. If you have another color in mind please contact us and we can see if we have it or can order it.
  • Can I buy a gift card?
Yes, you can! Send us a message and we will make a personal gift card and send it through e-mail.
  • What can I wear for my tattoo session?
It’s more important to be comfortable than to be fashionable. Looser is better than tighter, and keep in mind you want to be able to cover up certain places that might show, depending on where you're getting your tattoo. We suggest to wear black clothes, so when the ink drops it will not show on your clothes.
  • I want a tattoo with only white ink, is that possible?
No, I do not tattoo with white ink only. I do of course use white ink for applying details.
  • When should I not get tattooed?
    Do not get a tattoo: - on places where you have undergone plastic surgery or radiation in the past year; - on a scar that's less than a year old; - on a place that was tattooed less than six weeks ago; - on a place where a tattoo was lasered off less than three months ago or where the laser wound has not yet completely healed; - on irritated skin such as bumps, dark moles or swellings; - when you're under the influence of alcohol or drugs; - when you're pregnant;
  • Can I bring a friend or family member?
Of course! It is always nice to have someone in such an exciting situation to advise you. But remember that I have only a small area and therefore only one person can come along & no pets.
  • My tattoo itches while healing. Is this normal?
As the skin rejuvenates itself, usually about a week after the tattoo was done, the itch sets in. This is 100% normal. Good moisturizers will help immensely with this but do not scratch it! If lotion isn’t helping, run it under cold water for a few moments and you should be itch free.
  • How long does it take for my tattoo to heal?
The majority of your new tattoos healing process will be done within the first two weeks. However, the skin is still working to heal and rejuvenate and you need to plan on a 4-6 weeks for your skin to be back to its previous state.
